The track is an upbeat constant of cohesive electronic sounds describing an abstract tale from the studio.


Despite no real insight as to where or what "Terminal" might end up on, new SBTRKT is always welcome here.

Evian Christ - Kings & Them (Mixtape) [DWNLD]

Earlier this year a producer known as Evian Christ released his first mixtape entitled "Kings & Them" – a project influenced mainly by hip hop with elements of electronic music.

One of my favorite cuts off the mixtape is "Fuck It None of Y’all Don’t Rap", a fast paced track mainly fueled by a trio of bass hits under a rough and choppy vocal sample. Evian Christ definitely shows off his skill with developing a complex beat with the track "MYD". "MYD" starts off by resonating a beautiful airy sound and progresses to a rush of noise once the vocal sample hits.

I caught wind of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs in the last year as the electronic producer began rolling out a number of new singles from his highly anticipated upcoming debut album, "Trouble". Since hearing the hypnotizing lead single, "Garden", I've been absolutely hooked.

More recently T.E.E.D's latest single, "Tapes & Money", got the hyped up remix treatment from fellow UK producer, MJ Cole, and it does not disappoint.

Zodiac, also known as Jeremy Rose, is a 23 year old producer based out of Toronto. And yes, we all know what his music sounds like. Remember that tune "What You Need" by The Weeknd? But he's not only known for his production for The Weeknd, he's also produced for The Jealous Guys on the track "Genesis". To announce my return to Rhythmic Variations of Sound, after a long break due to the omnipresent censures of the Middle Kingdom (China), I have decided to promote the newest EP by the New York duo, Holy Ghost! Holy Ghost! are currently on tour with LCD Soundsystem but they have managed to release this EP that has my septum tingling with excitement. Holy Ghost! made famous for their remixes for MGMT, Cut Copy, LCD Soundsystem, and Phoenix, are bringing back that 70s and 80s era disco to the dance floor. This incredibly danceable EP has already been remixed by the likes of RAC. They remixed the song, Static On The Wire and it has you poppin' that ass to the poppy-disco tune. You can grab that below, so don't hesitate. This EP is making the wait for Chromeo's newest album a lot more bearable, but has you popping your hips to it like none other.
