OnCue's latest track, "New Religion", gets the musical expertise of both Party Supplies and Just Blaze. The original sample coming from MPC pro, Party Supplies' remix of The Weeknd's single, "House of Ballons" off the "Firecrackers EP". Just Blaze then finishes it off beautifully with his patented touch.

" Balloons of Haus is house music for the "I'm not really into techno" folks. It's uptempo but more to the point (free of those minute long intros/breakdowns of arbitrary ambience). The concept was born of my interest in bringing The Weeknd's vibe to a DJ set. He's talking about what every other artist you hear in the club is talking about except he's artistic, emotionally believable. The Weeknd's subject matter is already club friendly. The pace however was only bedroom friendly. My project still retains that laid back, mellow uptempo R&B vibe but picks up on a harder electro vibe with the Dirty Diana remix. RVS Presents The 50 Best Albums Of 2011

2011 has turned out to be a fantastic year in music. We saw the emergence of a variety of young talent in a range of genres. We also saw a slew of veteran artists return to what originally made them great. There has literally just been too much good music that came out this year that it's easy to understand if you couldn't keep up with a lot of it. When compiling this list we actually had somewhere around a 100 different albums that could all easily be on this list therefore narrowing it down to just 50 was extremely difficult and arduous. So give it up to all these talented artists in 2011!

Toronto's chosen one, The Weeknd, drops his first official music video for the House Of Balloons closing single, The Knowing. The video is directed by French filmmaker Mikael Colombu and leads a similar concept to Cee-Lo Green's Bodies music video also directed by Mikael. Colombu has done a number of other videos for artists such as Bilal, J Dilla, Onra and more which you can check out on his YouTube page.
