We didn't even attempt to rank all these tracks from 1 to 100 because it would have been a fools errand ending in major disputes. 2011 has turned out to be a fantastic year in music. We saw the emergence of a variety of young talent in a range of genres. We also saw a slew of veteran artists return to what originally made them great. There has literally just been too much good music that came out this year that it's easy to understand if you couldn't keep up with a lot of it. When compiling this list we actually had somewhere around a 100 different albums that could all easily be on this list therefore narrowing it down to just 50 was extremely difficult and arduous.
