TNGHT - Bugg'n (Captain Murphy Remix) (Video) [DWNLD]

Earlier this year when Lunice and Hudson Mohawke debuted their Summer anthem, "Bugg'n", we all knew it was only a matter of time before rappers started hopping on the neck breaking production. To kick off what will likely be a long line of lyrical attempts to follow, Captain Murphy attacks the instrumental on what is being called, "Shake Weight". Some of you may remember Murphy from Flying Lotus' recent single, "Between Friends", alongside Earl Sweatshirt in which the rapper showcased a number of jaw dropping bars. TNGHT (Hudson Mohawke & Lunice) - Higher Ground [Stream]

Earlier this Summer we were introduced to the newly formed production superteam of Montreal's Lunice and Glasgow's Hudson Mohawke with their bass slapping single, "Bugg'n". In anticipation of their joint EP, "TNGHT", which is dropping July 24th, the duo let loose the second cut from the project entitled "Higher Ground". Listen and go bonkers below!

Theophilus London - Rose Island Vol. 1 (Mixtape) [DWNLD]

A couple of days ago Theophilus London dropped his highly anticipated "Rose Island Vol. 1" mixtape.  Undoubtedly a smooth listen, "Rose Island Vol. 1" proves to be a great summer soundtrack for those days and nights where you just want to vibe out. Some of the previously released tracks including absolute banger, "Big Spender" featuring ASAP Rocky as well as the LVRS Anthem, "Last Night" were early indicators of how solid "Rose Island Vol. 1" is as a mixtape, and this project definitely in my opinion shows Theo at his finest.

TNGHT (Hudson Mohawke & Lunice) - Bugg'n [Video]

Glasgow's Hudson Mohawke and Montreal's Lunice have joined forces to form a producer super group entitled, TNGHT. The duo plan on dropping a self titled collaborative EP through Warp and LuckyMe on June 24th. While we all wait anxiously for that, get down with the video for the lead track off the project, "Bugg'n", which premiered last week.

This Lucky Me artist is really one of my favorite producers to follow as his musical range is so broad that it keeps you guessing but is clearly built on the fundamentals and golden age of hip hop as you can hear in his compositions.

TOKiMONSTA - Jackin4beats Pt. 4 ft. Andreya Triana, Oddisee & Tranqill [DWNLD]

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Red Bull Music Academy is dropping their newest volume of "Various Assets", this time the "London 2010" edition, on July 19 2010! If you don't already know, the Red Bull Music Academy is an amazing project that brings together a select, highly talented group of applicants every year in a new city and gives them the resources to create musical masterpieces while making some very valuable connections at the same time. RBMA has number of notable graduates including Flying Lotus, Dorian Concept and the most recent from this years class, TOKiMONSTA.
Another great track off the upcoming album produced by TOKiMONSTA and featuring Andreya Triana on the chorus and Oddisee and Tranquill rhyming on the beat.

The likes of James Pants, Katy B, Space Dimension Controller, Dâm-Funk, Hudson Mohawke, and many of the other producers that were involved with this year's RBMA in London will be featured on "Various Assets" on its July 19th release.
