Holy Ghost - Static On The Wire EP [DWNLD]

To announce my return to Rhythmic Variations of Sound, after a long break due to the omnipresent censures of the Middle Kingdom (China), I have decided to promote the newest EP by the New York duo, Holy Ghost! Holy Ghost! are currently on tour with LCD Soundsystem but they have managed to release this EP that has my septum tingling with excitement. Holy Ghost! made famous for their remixes for MGMT, Cut Copy, LCD Soundsystem, and Phoenix, are bringing back that 70s and 80s era disco to the dance floor. This incredibly danceable EP has already been remixed by the likes of RAC. They remixed the song, Static On The Wire and it has you poppin' that ass to the poppy-disco tune. You can grab that below, so don't hesitate. This EP is making the wait for Chromeo's newest album a lot more bearable, but has you popping your hips to it like none other. In any situation, it's a fucking good break from the jacked up, techno-douche, dance hammer style that's been hitting us with migraines all summer.

Go out and buy the Holy Ghost! EP, Static On The Wire on iTunes!

Monarchy+Holy Ghost!+Dixon=One Funky House Song!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you one of the funkiest and disco-est house songs that has come out in a while. Monarchy, that define their genre as "glacial pop with a throbbing undercurrent of humanity", have recently released their latest single: Love Get Out of My Way. Immediately upon its release the likes of Holy Ghost! and the great Berlin producer Dixon, jumped on it to create a masterpiece of a remix. But they're not alone. No, it gets better. If you go out and buy the 12" vinyl you will also get the Sinden, Tim Goldsworthy and the Benny Bennassi remix. Yes, you're thinking what I'm thinking: you need to get that vinyl. Give the Holy Ghost! and Dixon remix a listen and don't forget to support this upcoming artist by going out there and buying his stuff! This song is dope!
