After Black & Brown first appeared on Black Milk's 2010Album Of The Year, the Detroit collaborative finally released the music video along with the Black & Brown EP earlier this week. Check it out below!
Vintage music video for Onra's classic track Sitting Back off of his album Long Distancewhich was named our Number 1 Album of 2010. The video is a time machine to the 80's, synced with that old school 80's funk sound.
"I sampled from my collection of obscure 80's videos and a few internet clips to produce this clip for his track, "Sitting Back."
Shout to Onra, Nathan Love for the compositing help, and all the artists and videographers I "visually sampled" for this piece. Hope no one's offended ;) " - Director Matt Ferran
Very dope new music video for one of my favorite tracks off Black Milk's "Album Of The Year", "Welcome (Gotta Go)".
The Director; Anthony Garth, uses hundreds of still frame shots synchronized with the hard hitting, trademark drums laced by Black Milk himself to put together a very unique and forward thinking music video.
What a great day for music! I spent all day listening to some of the most anticipated releases of the year so I'm just gonna go in the order I listened to them in.
First up is Black Milk's "Album Of The Year which is finally up and streaming online and available for purchase physically and digitally below:
I don't want to get into whether I think the album lived up to the name or not (as not to attract the haters). But I will say that it's a great album, every track has a neck braking beat along with raw untouchable lyrics which results in a "Deadly Melody"!
Definitely worth going out and grabbing this album!
Also "Album Of The Year" release party's are going on around the US this week and the RVS crew is gonna try and head over to the Daytwa (Detroit) edition of the party keep you all in the know!

"Yeah, let's talk about who's the most underestimated plus Underrated" producer and rapper in this hip-hop game; Black Milk! Black's "Album Of The Year is releasing on September 14th and I can't wait to get it! Judging from everything I've heard lately, I see no reason why this wouldn't be "Album Of The Year" ("critics saying how dare you!")
First video off of Black Milk's upcoming "Album Of The Year" for the track; Black Milk - “Deady Medley” Featuring Royce Da 5’9″ & Elzhi
