P Villa is an up and coming beat maker/producer and 1/3 or the Blunt Guts Nation Crew. P-Villa drops some science on his debut album taking you on a listening spree from lecture to lecture in a 10 part course on the "Awkward Science" of beat making. Each beat has been concocted using an array of solutions including hip-hop, electronica, crunk, metal and even country resulting in an experimental masterpiece!
Undaground Tha Illest is an up and coming producer/rapper/sound designer and also part of the Blunt Guts Nation crew composed of a number of talented artists.
" My debut album/beat tape titled Soon Is So Far Away! Honestly I hadn't released music since 2006/2007, due to personal reasons. Never the less, I stayed making music hours upon hours daily, showing new work to real close friends. This album is an instrumental journey of my hardships, struggle, fun, intoxicated days & nights, joy, and pain through out the years. " - Unda
I could not agree more with the above sentiments. I have known Unda for a long time and his music has come a very long way! This album incorporates elements of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electronica and much more, forcing listeners to be challenged and brought to nu worlds of music while at the same time feeling the emotion and soul being emphasized by every song.
BEWARE: There are two incredible bonus tracks on the purchased version which I can vouch for. Definitely worth the 5 bucks!
"Light one up, dim the lights, and turn this up to the red. Enjoy the music & the vibes." - Unda
This track I came across the other day is all I've been listening to lately. Its raw, heavy and musically disgusting. Its by Pancho Villa, one of the members of the Blunt Guts Nation crew and the song is called Hailstorms.
