Big Boi & Little Dragon - Mama Told Me (Live) [Video]

Earlier this year we got word that Big Boi and Swedish electronic band, Little Dragon, were in Stankonia Studios together brewing up a surefire hit. After much suspense, the OutKast rapper showed up to the Little Dragon show in Austin last night to perform the highly anticipated collaboration, "Mama Told Me". The funky single is the second taste of "Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumours" following the recent release of the lead single, "Gossip". Watch the impromptu live performance below as we wait for an official version!

After performing a jazz band version of Seven, Odd Future's Tyler The Creator and Toronto's own BADBADNOTGOOD, jammed out again, this time performing a live rendition of Tyler's single, Fish. Instead of rapping though, Tyler shows his musical talent on the keys. You better recognize!

Toronto's rising talent; progressive jazz band, BADBADNOTGOOD, hooked up with Tyler The Creator in TDot last week before the sold out Odd Future show to perform Tyler's track Seven. The trio have recomposed and covered a number of classic tracks including A Tribe Called Quests' Electric Relaxtaion, J Dilla's Fall In Love, Flying Lotus' Camel and many more. Black Star - Fix Up (Prod. Madlib) (Live On Colbert) [Video]

Last night on The Colbert Report Talib Kweli and Yassiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) premiered and performed Black Star's newest Madlib produced single, Fix Up with J. Rocc of the world famous Beat Junkies. Talib and Yassiin go back and forth on Madlib's trademark, sample heavy beat as one of the best duos to ever do it. Hopefully this means there is a new collaborative album in the works!

Rest In Paradise: Sylvia Robinson - Sweet Stuff [Video]

Another sad day in the music world today as we mourn the loss of the mother of Hip Hop, Sylvia Robinson. Sylvia played a large role originating the genre, working with Sugar Hill Records as one of the first female producers, followed by a successful solo career. She helped produce classics like the Sugar Hill Gang's Rappers Delight as well as Grandmaster Flash's The Message! Check out this rare performance of Ms. Robinson's hit track Sweet Stuff. Most of you wil recognize this track from the sample used in J Dilla's Crushin'.
