DJ Mehdi - Loukoums (J Dilla Tribute Mix) [DWNLD]

The range and variety of different artists, regardless of genre and time period, that the late great J Dilla was able to inspire is still unbelievable to me. In 2006 DJ Mehdi paid homage to Jay Dee through this mix entitled Loukoums which was captivated by Dilla's Donuts. The mix was a limited release amongst friends. Earlier today, in light of Mehdi's tragic passing, Busy P decided it was time to share it with the world.

It goes from cover to cover, precisely recreating his music with a jazz twist, as an ode to the late musician."

Chicago based beat-maker and wordsmith, Jeremiah Jae, drops his latest mixtape; "Eating Donuts & Other Refine Foods."
