The artist formerly known as Mos Def, now known as Yasiin Bey, drops the vivid visuals for his social commentary, "Ni**as In Poorest". Mos, as always, comes through with the socially conscious lyrics in order to remind listeners about the real issues. For those of you trying to make something out of nothing, this is not a diss track towards Kanye and Jay-Z. This is just the first remake of Bey's "Top 40 Underdogs" project. Badbadnotgood - Flashing Lights/Ni**as In Paris (Live Cover) [Video]
In a recent live show at the The Drake Underground, Toronto based jazz trio, Badbadnotgood caused a ruckus with two previously unheard live covers. The band first covered Kanye West's Flashing Lights followed by an encore performance of Jay-Z and Kanye's Ni**as In Paris. Hopefully these phenomenal recomposition's will be on their next mixtape!
