Issa Dash (The Underachievers) - Aquinini [DWNLD]

NYC's The Underachievers impressed the music world earlier this Summer with their standout video for the tripped out single, "Gold Soul Theory". It seems to also have caught LA producer, Flying Lotus' eye as the Brainfeeder head honcho announced the signing of the rap duo earlier this week! In light of the signing, Issa Dash of the duo let loose this smooth jazz single entitled, "Aquinini", produced by Rami B. Vibe out to it below as we all wait anxiously to hear what the revamped Brainfeeder camp have to offer us!

Captain Murphy - The Killing Joke (Prod. Flying Lotus) [Video]

This past Summer we caught wind of the suspicious Captain Murphy on the collaborative single "Between Friends", as well as a rap remix of TNGHT's "Bugg'n". With little to no information on who exactly this suspected blend of Tyler and Earl is, the elusive entity continues to drop new music with the latest Flying Lotus produced single, "The Killing Joke". The production features a hypnotizing foreign sample with Murphy switching up his style and flow throughout as to further confuse listeners. The track is expected to appear on the rapper's forthcoming LP, "DU∆LITY". Watch the animated visuals and download the single below!

Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes (Short Film) [Video]

As Flying Lotus prepares to release his highly anticipated LP, "Until The Quiet Comes", the LA producer collaborates with Kahlil Joseph on this abstract short film of the same name. Filmed in the Nickerson Gardens Projects in Watts, the narrative features Flying Lotus in a turnt up lowrider as he resurrects a young dancer (Storyboard P) wearing a "J Dilla Changed My Life" t-shirt with his ambient sounds. The storyline seems to parallel what FlyLo has managed to accomplish in the last few years by reviving a generation of new producers by building off the late great J Dilla's legacy with his progressive and soulfully inspired music. Watch the phenomenally orchestrated short film and pre-order "Until The Quiet Comes" below!

TNGHT - Bugg'n (Captain Murphy Remix) (Video) [DWNLD]

Earlier this year when Lunice and Hudson Mohawke debuted their Summer anthem, "Bugg'n", we all knew it was only a matter of time before rappers started hopping on the neck breaking production. To kick off what will likely be a long line of lyrical attempts to follow, Captain Murphy attacks the instrumental on what is being called, "Shake Weight". Some of you may remember Murphy from Flying Lotus' recent single, "Between Friends", alongside Earl Sweatshirt in which the rapper showcased a number of jaw dropping bars. Toronto's rising talent; progressive jazz band, BADBADNOTGOOD, hooked up with Tyler The Creator in TDot last week before the sold out Odd Future show to perform Tyler's track Seven. The trio have recomposed and covered a number of classic tracks including A Tribe Called Quests' Electric Relaxtaion, J Dilla's Fall In Love, Flying Lotus' Camel and many more.
