Daedelus - Platforming [Music Video]

The amount of amazing music coming from the Brainfeeder camp continues to overwhelm as Daedelus releases the abstract visuals for his latest single, "Platforming". The robot house rhythms comes from the producer's upcoming EP, "Looking Ocean", which drops Oct. 16th. As we wait for that, let your imagination run wild and watch the Robbie Crabtree directed music video below!

" A compilation of mashed up beats and electric rhythms are reminiscent of a bizarre carnival nightmare in Daedalus' newest music video, "Platforming." Sterile mechanics battle with experimental drawings of neon light and shocking sound waves. These dizzying melodies will put you in a daydream hypnosis as every mind-bending beat vibrates deep into your very core. " - Scion A/V

Daedelus - Broken Radio Bliss (Cambodian Field Report Remix) [DWNLD]

I recently posted the second field report by VTech's Frosty in which he explores the historical music scene of Cambodia: Frosty's Magnetic Bananas: A Cambodian Cassette Mix [DWNLD] Well as Ras G and Take created a couple of banger remixes for the "Fly Thai High!" Thailand field report, Daedelus has composed the first remix for the "Cambodian Cassette Mix."

"Daedelus embraced the crackle and fuzz of Cambodian 1960’s rock & pop cassettes to create this buoyant remix. In this exclusive download to The Sounds of VTech listen to his slithering synth waves saunter on and hear the scattered magnetic fragments floating from every corner of your headphones. This rhythmic pattern is one of multiple flashes through time. Daedelus ping-pongs between the past when these Cambodian jams ruled the nation, and the present, where the original songs are golden ghosts, audible only to those lucky enough for an encounter. His “broken radio bliss” remix is full of serious wow and flutter."

"The ideal way to listen to this cut-up would be with a pair of headphones attached to a knock-off Sony Walkman with its sticker peeling away from the heat of the sun. But for those who don’t have one handy, we’re pretty confident that any way you play it, this remix won’t disappoint. So close your eyes and cruise the busy Cambodian streets with the radio turned up and Daedelus as your guide."
