The Weekly Electro Smash! [DWNLD]

Happy New Years once again from the RVS fam to all of our readers! You may have noticed some changes to this page as we are now going to advertise events in and around the Toronto area for all of you! If you're in the area, feel free to drop us a line and let us know how it was and whatnot! There will also be offers for reduced guest lists and other such deals! Check the event page as much as you can!

For now, the electro smash has returned from holiday and this is my first update to you guys:

Starting off with Brodinski's newest mix tape, Best of Everything Vol. II. The minimalist techno deejay from France is one of my fave underground artist and he has compiled his favourite R n' B hits into one cute little zip package. For those of you who haven't grabbed it yet, you can do so below. Although all the songs featured were popular hits, the remixes featured in this mix tape will blow your minds and take you all over the place. Give it a listen as it will honestly broaden your horizons.

Now to more serious affairs, our friends at Fool's Gold recently posted an absolute firecracker of a mix by their Italian connection, Congorock. Known for his massive international hit 'Babylon', this Gino has been blowing the minds of everyone from Diplo to Guetta. This new mix features songs from Two Door Cinema Club to remixes of Mark Ronson and Boy George resulting in an eclectic fusion of both techno and some hints of funk! Check it out for download below!

A while ago, we at the RVS crew found out about a new artist known by the name of Senor Stereo whom appear on Slow Roast Records with the likes of Dj Craze and Kill The Noise. We were blown away by their EP at the time and they have come back to blow our minds with a remix version of their EP, Unintentional EP - The Remixes. You can listen to the tracks below with us at the RVS team telling you to buy that shit! It is absolute fire! Gigamesh, a member of Senor Stereo also appears on the EP leaving us with a taste at an upcoming deejay!

Although there is really a lot to cover here, I'll save some for the next electro smash next week! Stay tuned people!

This week's bonus is a freebie from a French producer by the name of Guillaume Delarge who's one half of Parisian duo Punky Blaster! With upcoming tracks (March) from the duo appearing on ToolRoom Records UK, Delarge has started solo projects with this mash up of Eric Prydz and Swedish House Mafia and then remixed the two! Definitely stepping in the right directions, we're glad to have had Guillaume email us this track for a taste of what's to come from the man! Thanks for the like Guillaume! Check out this beat after the jump!

Until next week people!
