Death Grips - The Fever (Aye Aye) [Music Video]
Another tease release from Death Grips today with their "Money Store" LP track, "The Fever (Aye Aye)" raising hell and eyebrows. The video to accompany stays true to the low-budget-low-life aesthetic they're all about, particularly exceptional in this faster paced in your fuckin face psychotropic performance. We've said enough, peep this shit!
Death Grips - Get Got (Music Video) [DWNLD]
We're a little late on this one but the news is still good. Late last month Sacramento's Death Grips released their promo track and music video "Get Got", in anticipation of their upcoming album "The Money Store" to be released by Epic Records this coming April 24th. The group also put out subsequent singles, "Blackjack" and "Lost Boys" from the upcoming LP. All three are available for free download on thirdworlds.net.

From what we can glean by these so far, the abrasively raw lyrical content that the trio have made themselves known for remains true to the captivatingly dark, thematic mastery of their "Ex Military" mixtape. Their frontman, MC Ride, exhibits a faster flow on these recent singles and their keyboardist-mixmaster, Flatlander, bumps some scintillating and original bass-heavy beats, reminiscent to a degree of arcade-game music in the best and only way possible.
In other words, we've seen this group go from good to really fucking awesome, and in just under a year. See for yourself with the visuals above!

Death Grips - Spread Eagle Cross the Block (Music Video) [DWNLD]
Death Grips hit it like a fucking sledgehammer to the dome with their debut mixtape Exmilitary. They're from Southern California and follow roughly the same vein as Odd Future in terms of lyrical content (the albums first track for instance, Beware, opens with a Charles Manson sample), but quite fucking frankly, do it a lot better. The only named member of the group so far is Zach Hill who you might know from Hella, on drums with Death Grips too. The other two haven't been identified yet and for all intents and purposes might as well be hobos. The album is like having one wave a knife in your face; it's sure to excite something even if that means abject repulsion. Here's the video and you can download their album free below!
