" Fresh off the success of their latest single "Topanga" from Emilio Sparks' Scumbino's Way mixtape also featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Mickey Factz comes "American Way", the latest single from The Higher Concept. Produced by Mike Cash (Outasight, Smoke DZA) and featuring THC's live backup The Contraband, "American Way" is the second single and the first music video released for THC's upcoming album Everbody.
The album was recorded at their Staten Island, NY studio/home The House of Dreams, and engineered and mixed by THC emcee Tekst and close collaborator J. Glaze, who together have worked with the likes of RZA, Method Man, Kurupt and more, also inspiring Inspectah Deck to use a live band for a number of songs on his most recent album Manifesto. The video, directed by Dan Meyers, who recently directed the new Boaz/Mac Miller video, is a salute to the struggle of every American 9-5 worker. " - Dunn Deal PR
