Theophilus London - Rose Island Vol. 1 (Mixtape) [DWNLD]

A couple of days ago Theophilus London dropped his highly anticipated "Rose Island Vol. 1" mixtape.  Undoubtedly a smooth listen, "Rose Island Vol. 1" proves to be a great summer soundtrack for those days and nights where you just want to vibe out. Some of the previously released tracks including absolute banger, "Big Spender" featuring ASAP Rocky as well as the LVRS Anthem, "Last Night" were early indicators of how solid "Rose Island Vol. 1" is as a mixtape, and this project definitely in my opinion shows Theo at his finest.

Marvin Gaye - Ain't That Peculiar (Oddisee Remix) (Video) [DWNLD]

Earlier this month, multitalented producer / rapper, Oddisee, dropped this unbelievably hot remix of the Marvin Gaye classic, "Ain't That Peculiar", accompanied by some re-edited and synced visuals. The track is off the DMV artist's recently released remix EP, "Odd Renditions", which also features reworks of singles from Bon Iver, K-Os and Metronomy.  The EP is just a precursor to Oddisee's highly anticipated LP, "People Hear What They See", which drops June 5th. Big Sean - Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay ft. Kanye West & Roscoe Dash (Prod. No I.D.) [Music Video]

Even though this cut is like a colourful rip off of Kanye's Gold Digger video, this track is still my favorite off Big Seans Finally Famous.

This was all inspired by a little Marvin Gaye and some chardonnay.
