J Dilla & Steve Spacek - The Look (Unreleased) [Stream]

Most of you Dilla-heads will remember the two classic collaborations between Jay Dee and Steve Spacek with "Dollar" and "Eve". Well earlier this week another unreleased collaboration surfaced circa 2007 entitled "The Look". Rumours are it will be pressed up on a vinyl release featuring another unreleased joint single! In the meantime feast your ears on this unreleased gem below!

Hard at work producer, Knxwledge, pays his respects to the late great J Dilla with this breathtaking tribute. The three part medley starts off with a remix of Jay Dee's classic "Ruff Draft" cut, "Let's Take It Back", followed by two instrumentals clearly inspired by the Detroit legend. This video/album, to me, is a very sad tribute and farewell to one of the greatest hip-hop trios ever as this will be the last SV album ever. RIP J Dilla, RIP Baatin....RIP Slum Village.

Devonwho x Black Milk x NAMELESS - "Actriz Mix" [DWNLD]

Can't say I saw this collaboration coming but I was definitely excited when I saw these artists names in the same sentence! This track does not disappoint either with the drums eq'ed perfectly giving the beat a typical Black Milk feel while sampled Dilla vocals echo on top that make "you wanna bounce in ya whip, with that real live shit!"
